An Eye for an Eye.

The death penalty must be reinstated, if we are to have any chance of restoring law and order back to the UK. There is much nonsense expressed when any discussion about the death penalty begins. Is the ultimate punishment really a deterrent, should the state murder, and can we be absolutely sure we have the right person.

The effects of abolition of capital punishment on the murder rate.

According to the Home Office Report (Murder 1957-1968) the murder rate in England and Wales steadily increased after the passing of the 1957 Act to abolish capital punishment and further accelerated after suspension (effective abolition) of capital punishment in 1965. Murder continued to increase and in the 21st century has reached over 900 a year by 2004 and continues to raise at an ever alarming rate culminating this year in an increase in murder by firearms and in particular a decrease in age of victim

To discourage murder the state should not murder; this argument does not withstand close scrutiny. The definition of an individual being put to death for a crime they have committed is capital punishment, not murder, in the same way we define manslaughter as not being murder, self defence as not being murder and so on. So we already have a number of examples of people killing other people that is not considered murder. This moves us to the greatest example of this that is state sponsored….

…An interesting hypocrisy arises when it is a question of going to war. The state is more than happy to vote for war in parliament and then proceed to kill thousands of people without being absolutely sure it is the right thing to do, many of those killed could be considered, and indeed are innocent civilians. The very same politicians will then vote and campaign vigorously against the reintroduction of Capital Punishment. Therefore it is fair to conclude that both Labour and Conservative MPs are actually happy to let civilians (women, children, infants, babies as well as men and boys) die (or be murdered by the state, depending on your point of view) so long as they are Muslims , citizens of Iraq , Iran , Afghanistan , or generally living in another country. The same politicians will not allow the same fate for convicted murderers, child killers and Rapastists that are British , cold , ruthless , calculating , evil , will cost the tax payer at least £30,000 per year to keep in prison and will remain a threat to others for as long as they breath air.
